Our Beginning

In 2024, Sophia and Amanda crossed paths after working to support two of the valley’s long-standing families. Though their work began in different homes, they quickly discovered a shared purpose: caring for the people who had quietly carried the weight of building this community.

When Kyler faced the sudden and heartbreaking loss of her husband, she experienced firsthand the power of community. Surrounded by care and compassion, she discovered how transformative true support could be and it fueled her desire to give back. At the same time, Amanda and Sophia, through their collaborative work with a third pillar family of the valley, were coming to the same realization: while the valley offered beauty, opportunity, and a strong sense of place, there were no dedicated services designed to support the very families who had built its foundation. Out of these shared experiences—Kyler’s lived reminder of the importance of community, and Amanda and Sophia’s insight into a missing need—the three came together with one vision: to create a service rooted in compassion, discretion, and respect for those who call this valley home.

Moved by both gratitude and vision, they decided to come together, not just as colleagues, but as partners with a mission. Their work is rooted in honoring the past while shaping a future where families who gave so much to this valley and those that have joined over the years, receive the care, respect, and support they deserve, allowing them to stay and call this valley home as long as they desire.

Wanting to honor those who set them on this path, they chose the name JG Private Care Management. JG being a subtle but deeply grateful nod to the people and families who inspired their journey.

Looking ahead, Sophia, Kyler, and Amanda are building something uniquely tailored for the mountain families they serve, a home care management service that understands the complexities of life at the highest levels and supporting loved ones as they age. Their vision is to create a trusted partner, one that offers seamless support for every detail of care, while always respecting privacy and discretion. This work goes beyond traditional care. It’s about anticipating needs that extend across multiple homes, travel schedules, and the intricacies that come with a life lived in motion.
